Sorry Floyd, but a guy doesn't go 345-5 in the amatures, and get a silver medal in the Olympics, being a one dimensional plodder. If you don't want the fight, stick to the idea that he's too big for you. Dont start coming up with ****** excuses like"im too smart for him" because unless he's a skeleton at the weigh in,there's only one way the fight goes down, and that's with mayweather getting ko'd. Mayweather wont be able to potshot him in the center of the ring, because golovkin has the most accurate and consistent jab in boxing right now (according to compubox)about the same reach, and a jab from ggg, feels like a straight right from another fighter. Mayweather won't be able to clinch him either, because the moment he does,he's going to get ragdolled and manhandled by the bigger fighter. What's left for mayweather to do? Move constantly, come off the ropes, and try to score punches? Ggg would walk through everything mayweather throws at him,all while smiling that goofy ass smile. The fight would literally be a game of cat and mouse, with mayweather hoping that his legs and reflexes last every second of every round, because if he decides to lay on the ropes like he did against pacquiao,or if he slips up just once,he'll find out just how good ggg is at cutting of the ring, and he'll be the newest resident of the goodboy nation. With all this being said,if mayweather doesn't want the fight,no problem, because he's nearing 39he'd be the smaller fightet, and he already has his legacy set. But if he doesn't want the fight,he should stop making bs excuses, pick amir khan and stop teasing the fans.

Mayweather: "I'm just too smart for Golovkin..."
They didn't finish the quote...Mayweather said a lot more... Mayweather really said... "I"m just too smart for Golovkin.. I would never fight an unstoppable force like that in his prime... if I were younger I'd wait him out until he's past his prime or he gets exposed by someone else and then I'd take the fight."

I don't think GGG owns Mayweather at 154 however. But the odds will probably be thin relative to many of Mayweather's previous fights (not as close as Pac or Canelo were most likely).
