People don't watch Mayweather to see him lose only, they watch him because 1. He has skill and is a masterful boxer 2. He knows how to sell a fight 3. He's black (I know a lot of casual fans who watch him because they identify with him) and yes some want to see him lose.

Khan fought on Friday on Spike, obviously it will draw less. In fact, Khans rating was the highest in 8 years on that time slot on Spike. His share of the ratings for a Friday night, was much higher than Broners share of rating on a Sat. Ratings share is the important number.

Broner on the other hand had terrible ratings. 2.4 on NBC primetime on Sat, is absolutely terrible.

Keith Thurman got 4 million on NBC on Sat, and even that isn't amazing for primetime.

Broner is not popular actually.
