    Rubbish !

Golovkin has not beaten 16 top-10 contenders, or even close.

    I dont accept that.

Golovkin was prepared to fight Chavez and Froch.

Golovkin said this..... " anyone from 154-168 "..... but what he meant was..... " anyone who I can beat, from 154-168 ".

Ward has a much better resume than Golovkin, despite being inactive LOL.

    Absolutely pointless comparison.

Golovkin should be absolutely desperate for a meaningful fight, not making excuses to avoid one. He would be screaming for Ward if the hype was real.

      GGG makes 160 very easy.
He would have a leg to stand on if GGG was killing himself to make 147 pounds and killing te opposition to go up to 160 and struggle. But fact is he isn't
Like another poster said I want to see Floyd Thurman brook or maybe porter
The two factors that I explained to him were..... that Rios was killing himself to make 135 and had a size advantage over most of his opponents..... and that Golovkin is obviously a better fighter than Rios.

But, he is at one end of the scale, and you are obviously at the other end.

The truth is somewhere in the middle.

His point..... that when Golovkin takes a step up in class, as well as a step up in size..... that he may not look like the same supposed killer..... is **** on point.

Floyd and Ward likely beat GGG.

GGG likely beats Cotto...i know, i know..but Ward doe

        Ward likely beats Kovalev.

Thats how i see this whole mess based on skills, comp level AND weight class
        I agree completely.....

        Mayweather > Golovkin (at 154)

        Ward > Golovkin (at 168)

        Golovkin > Mayweather (at 160)

        Golovkin > Cotto (at 160)

        Golovkin > Canelo (at 160)

        Cotto > Golovkin (at 154)

        Canelo > Golovkin (at 154)

        Ward > Kovalev (at 175)

GGG should look up and not down,if thats what he wants to do then so be it,rehydration clause and he can take it or leave it

yea sure why not, either take it or leave it
Floyd has done more than just "look" down, plenty of times. All of them had to conform and come up to fight at Floyd's weight. Some were fighting 3 weight divisions below Floyd the year before fighting Floyd .......

and I'm sure that you were OK with all that. For example, for Marquez, you said ".... but Marquez was P4P #2 at the times so its legit". Well, Floyd is a notch higher than that.

              • Not sure what the complaint about GGG calling out Floyd either.

GGG is asking for a fight against Maywether in a division where he holds championships. GGG too big for MAyweather, of course, but the fight is still make-able at 154.

                • There were also rumours of him fighting Cotto for the MW title but GGG is too big for 154?

Or you can blow up and have a weight advantage over someone ...catchweight and overweight are both the same ....So if GGG wants to fight he shouldn't be slowed to be over 166..,or go up
And fight ward ...he can't have it both ways ...pick one go done with clause or go up without one ...
