EXACTLY! A lot of people post on this forum post with some type of Agenda! They like other fighters more so in order to keep people talking about and praising their guy, they come and bash the up and coming fighter who people are praising. I see right through the BULL****! All you can do is laugh at these idiots as they contradict themselves then try to back peddle and clean it up

Im sorry Spence fans I just don't see it. Like someone said time will tell, I am just confident in my opinion and trying to give you a heads up.

As I said before, I implore you to go watch Floyd, Judah, Cotto, in their 18th fight, hell throw Andre Ward in as well. All those guys went on to be elite. Not only were they fighting higher level opponents at that stage, the talent level and difference in raw ability is huge compared to Spence last night...HUGE. So if you think you have got another fighter on that kind of level, think again. That is all that I am saying.

Boxing is 90% mental, speed just like anything else is just a tool of the mind that needs to be applied.

Spence has fine speed anyway, you act like he is molasses in winter, when for a guy that puts steam on his shots they are plenty quick.
That is what I am talking about, his speed in general. Anything physical you do comes from the receptors in the brain, but broken down simply speed is how fast you get from point A to B period. Timing is still about speed, its just measuring it. You are over complicating it, fact is the kid is not fast and I think there are signs that will get him found out. You are right he is not slow, but I just don't see anything really excellent he does to warrant the hype, as Ive said compare him to other guys at a similar age who went on to become elite, or even champions and he just doesn't stand out the same way.

Looks fine to me and his speed is plenty to get the job done even at the top level of the sport. He has plenty of strengths so as long as he fights to his strength not trying to be something they aren't they will find success. If he tries to be something he isn't he will fail.

That is such a flawed way to compare because you aren't giving him any credit for what he does well. You are seeing what you want to see which is the opposite side of the coin you are talking about with Americans

Exactly he just doesn't have the X factor. Power is good but not great, his hands and feet are slow, there's no wow factor with him. He's faced trash so far and his power will look much more average as he steps up in levels. He's a good fighter but doesn't have what it takes to be great.

A bunch of people thought Andre Ward was a bust before the super 6 point blank period. Pretty much for the exact reason you are dogging Spence, they just didn't see anything he was great at.

Are you serious?? I am not one of those people anyway. People were saying Kessler was overrated after the Ward fight, and I was saying that Kessler was absolutely not overrated because Ward is special, I will try and bring the post out. I thought that before the fight anyway, as a Kessler fan I knew he was in really deep. I am not sure how anyone could have that opinion based off the Pudwill and Miranda performances, Ward looked pretty spectacular.

Ward won olympic gold so he obvs had serious talent.
