    Thurman smashes Spence

He's slow as fk, very hittable and flat footed, seriously I watched his fight against that journeyman and he was getting tagged easily, looks very very slow and mediocre. I honestly don't see the hype whatsoever. Broner is more talented than this guy, shame about his work ethic though. His power is good but not great.

Thurman would smash him, as would any other top 147-154lber.

He's got a very good offensive arsenal but like you said he's flat-footed, a mobile puncher could indeed be his undoing.

I'd like to see Brook vs Spence sometime in the near future as well, that's a hellova fight.

I wanted to make a thread about that. Like you said he is slow, hittable, but he is also telegraphing his punches, you can see them miles away. When I was watching the fight, i thought, if Spence fights some crafty counter puncher with pop, he will probably bite the dust.

Yes, yesterday he didn't give that aura of invincibility many other fighters would have given you against an opponent of that calibre.

thurman seems like the more dynamic fighter with the more unique style. two likeable guys though; the future of the welterweight division looks very bright. hopefully once mayweather is out of the picture it will be easier to convince the other guys to fight each other
