Damn, there's a ton of boxing this weekend

Between the Broner vs. Porter card, the return of the #2 p4p Andre Ward, the Lemieux-N'dam war, and today's PBC card on CBS there is a bunch of boxing to watch on tv.

Haven't been this saturated with the sport in a long time. I kind of like it.

There was even Bellator MMA on SPIKE "Friday Night Lights Out", LOL at that title. I'm not a fan of Ultimate Fighting and MMA. I like the striking, but there are LONG periods where the two guys are hugging or laying there...I just cant get into it. In boxing, you stay on your feet, toe to toe, and you beat the guy down or knock him out.

While the guys are laying there, they're throwing these WEAK punches! In boxing, you see guys get their head knocked off, and here you're seeing one guy on top of the other, throwing these soft arm-punches that would bounce of Wlad's chin!

Anyway, this legendary Kimbo Slice guy, who I kept hearing about, was fighting Ken Shamrock, who I know from WWE. Kimbo was as good as choked out!! Shamrock had the triangle choke submission locked in! Kimbo magically breaks its, gets up, and scores a TKO! Total BS!

Speaking of Kimbo's legendary south Florida back yard fighting days...from my urban experience...was he, his brother, and their crew the neighborhood bullies? You know...like uh...those guys put their money up and fought him...but...they knew...number one, that they weren't gonna win, and two, even if they DID win, they weren't getting paid !!

Like, you're gonna beat up the neighborhood big dog, and then you're gonna simply walk away with the money? It's doesn't work like that in the streets ! Those guys knew not to actually win, and not to hurt Kimbo, LOL! I don't care how tough you are, there's someone in the neighborhood who is tougher! The fact the he went undefeated in that urban jungle, with hardly a scratch, shows the FEAR those guys had of him !!!

It's like when you gamble at the underground mafia casino! Have a good time, but don't have any thoughts of winning! You won't make it out of the parking lot with that money !!!
