So, you are saying it was Spence who was at a disadvantage with the 3 days notice opponent. Come on, bro. This has been a routine in boxing to make the prospect look good.
Spence is good, but many fighters can look good against the type of opposition he's faced. Personally, would like to see him step up the competition, and I think he's ready to face the big boys at 147. Right now, he can face Ortiz, Berto, Khan. I think he probably wins those fights. I can see him being a dangerous opponent for any top 147 fighter. Would love to see some very competitive fights get made with PBC, real high stakes kind of fights.
Anybody else think Spence gives Khan the bidness right now?

Note: Spence is 17-0, Floyd was 17-0 before he got his first world title shot.Leave a comment:

As much as I want to say yes, I'll be honest and give it to Kahn simply based in the fact that he's experienced and willing to fight dirty. Spence looked slower tonight than the last time I saw him and was not minding his defence. He'll get there soon though, I'm fairly confident in that.
I'd take him over Khan but that might be the hometown bias and good brews talking. I just like the technicality of his game.Leave a comment:

I don't want Spence to get into the Overhyped Category, Mayweather is just promoting him and building him up. That is great promotion for Spence Jr and it is getting him a lot of attention which he needs...but Make no mistake I think Haymon knows he potentially has a HUGE FIGHT with Spence Jr vs Thurman later down the line. I don't see him making that big of a Leap for Spence Jr just yet. No need to rush him along let him continue to work is way up
Khan not looking to fight Prospects, he wants Mayweather just like everybody else.Leave a comment:

First time I saw Errol Spence, I thought he was the future.
I think he's an awesome talent, real spiteful too.Leave a comment:
