When was the last time you heard Floyd Sr. say something positive about a fighter that wasn't in his gym? The last I can remember is after the Cotto/Martinez fight when he said Cotto beat an old, washed up man (which is typical of Floyd Sr.), but then added that when he saw Martinez in his prime he looked "phenomenal." Kind of strange since Sergio didn't fight at all like Floyd teaches; usually he trashes on any other style.

Theres a reason they called him "Maravilla". Sergio was aestetically pleasing with skills to match. When he was in his prime, what a sight to behold, dude fought beautifully.

The up shot to this is Khan is so desperate that rather than leave it to Al Haymon as he said he would he's tried to back door it with the old man.
The reason , not wanting to give Khan a pay day he has millions behind him on that one.
You see Khan don't get it but it's in his DNA he has an uncanny knack at talking like a twat and twisting the truth and trying to talk himself in to a position and this speed thing......He didn't look very fast and effective in his last fight did he ......He blew it .
I hope that Khan has to fight a real contender for his shot and we know if he does his shot ain't happening.
When Khan goes I just hope he takes all of his deluded hangers on with him as this lot like the boy himself make no sense and don't ever consider the facts.To think that Floyd is running from Amir Khan as some of these idiots believe is just beyond any reasonable thinking but they do and the up shot is on these forums where opinions are cast around for good for bad , there is no place for those sort of extreme believes ....they make NO sense .

So valid enough reasons. Seriously, I used to think Khan would trouble Mayweather. After seeing his piss poor performance against Chris Algieri of all people, there's not an ounce of me that believes Khan could beat Mayweather now or ever.
