                I mean think about it..

                He's going against arguably the most skilled boxer in this generation, pretty much at or near Mayweather level in terms of skill and intelligence. Why not try to have some advantages.

                    What? Why would he bother to cancel. He plowed through the best at 168, Smith is no threat. If anything, this looks good for Ward because the commentary crew gets to being up the fact that Smith has an unfair advantage, etc. Makes it seem like more of a legit challenge rather than a tune-up.
