Verbal agreements work both ways. Porter agreed to them at 144 IF THEY BOTH weighed that way. Broner can't say well because you said 144 I can do what I want. The verbal contract is void if:
1) They give him a written contract, that will always take precedent.
2) The written contract has different terms than the verbal.
3) Broner comes in over 144 at which point Porter can do what he wants.
Porter has nothing to worry about, come in 147 or they cancel the fight it's that simple.
