True -- it does look salty but it doesn't really matter. As good as Ward is, he has no charisma. People will tolerate Froch's delusional bravado because he's charismatic and fun to watch. Ward is a great fighter, but he has no personality. Few boxing fans care if (or how) he'll choose to respond.

I bet if ward agreed Froch would quickly retire before the fight. He already got tuned up by ward, would i like to see the fight again, sure but only because i know ward would go for the stoppage and get it.

Ward fans will laugh and cry about what Froch said, but in reality he's fighting on a BET time-buy, maybe drawing 5,000 while giving away free tickets in his hometown.

Ward didn't have any issue with then champion Kessler coming to his hometown and giving Andre a chance. Nor did he have any issue with LHW champ Dawson coming to his hometown either.
