He is right Walters is a Welter weight and if he was unable to make weight he deserves not pity. That being said he's not fighting no title holder in Dubai.

Who's claiming Loma as a star and the second coming? So it's bad for a fighter to have fans now? Just look at this thread alone there was more hate towards Loma. So it's Loma's fault Walters didn't make weight, if Walters made weight and they said they didn't want to fight him then I would agree that it's probably a duck but that's not the case.

I could care less one way or another, what I have a problem with is someone fighting for a title in only their second or third pro fight when some many others have to wait in line or work their way into the rankings. As for fighters having loyal fans I'm all for it but don't go on other threads batching other fighters pretending to be unbiased. I AM A DIEHARD COTTO FAN, and I don't hide it ever and don't pretend to be a complete unbiased boxing fan. I root for US fighters against all foreigners but I favor some US fighters over others. I still admire a few foreigners but wont root for them against US fighters.

I didn't agree with him fighting for a belt that soon either, it would be unfair to the guys already ranked and he needed more experience (I predicted he would lose to the much more experienced Salido). At least he's given two of the guys ranked ahead of him a shot.
Is that directed to me? Who have I bashed? There is just some group of fans that like fighters because of their race or ethnicity (we can't do much about it unfortunately), but don't take it out on the fighters because he may have some dumb fans.
I don't care where the fighter is from as long I like their style inside the ring, I'm good. The only American fighter I'm not a huge fan of is Andre Ward and you don't see me going on his thread talking **** about him, just because I'm not a fan of his style inside the ring (outside the ring he's a class act and family man which is really respectable) or because of his fans.

In this thread there was way more Loma hate than people saying he's the "second coming". But it's not Loma's fault that Walters didn't make weight. If Walters did make weight and Loma didn't want to fight him then I would understand the people calling this a duck, but that is not the case.

son, he missed weight against the Colombian fighter, 1 freaking pound, let them fight and see if he makes weight or not, it seems to me and a lot other fans that lomachenko side is taking that 1 pound as an excuse not fight him, sign for the fight and if he is overweight by 1oz the night of the fight, sue his A$$... and those same mofos want Rigondeaux to fight walters and lomachenko a feather, a guy that only gains 2 or 3 pounds the night of the fight, the Cuban hasn't fought a guy his own size, they all bigger than him...

NO, the only people that seem to want Rigo to move up are most of his fans and team; they're the only ones claiming Walters and Loma are scared of him. Caribe promotions are the ones that can't seem to keep Featherweights out their mouths, do they expect these guys to move down for him? Then there is people like you blaming others and say that Loma or Walters fans are the ones that want Rigo to move up. I don't care if Rigo stays at 122. But if he has no intentions of moving stop saying Featherweights are scared of him!

It's a duck if Loma turns the fight down but the fact is, Walters doesn't seem like he'll be making fw any time soon and Loma is staying at fw for now.

I wasn't referring to you in particular I was generalizing. I go into practically every Cotto thread and I see Pac, Mayweather, GGG, Loma, Canelo and other boxer fans in there calling Cotto fans all kinds of nut hugging related names mea while claiming to be unbiased fans of the sport first. Yet you find them in their favorite fighters threads doing exactly what loyal Cotto fans do, the hypocrisy is incredible.

this was as blatant as it gets. If this was Floyd, Garcia, etc. the hate would be all over NSB.

What disappoints me is that Loma is not even a small FW. He comes in at nearly 140; so what Walters comes in 5-8 lbs heavier.
