I don't think so. We have seen Broner is an average fighter already, so Porter beating him will be like "Oh, he looked average again?". He looked pretty evenly matched with Emmanuel Taylor and even more matched with Paulie Malignaggi.

Won't be the A side for long ... enjoy it while you can. That false bravado is something else, after every sentence he pauses and waits for the laughter and lets out a smile... like he's impressed with himself. Meanwhile his BPM is at about 120 and he can't keep his mind off of the fight ... how much it means, what happens it he loses etc... he's nervous and the antics only serve the purpose of hoping that it's not obvious to everyone else. He backed himself into a corner though because normal fighters if they just stay quiet it can come off as focus, being calm, etc... in the case of Broner it would come off as nerves since he's normally so animated ... So he has to put on the act instead of being able to be completely be focused on the task at hand. He will never be great partially for the reasons listed above... but the other (more significant) part is he never had the tools to begin with. He probably figured he could talk the talk and work on the walking at the same time... it doesn't work that way.
