Wasn't going after that point but just trying to say if his current trainer has got them this far then there's no reason for them not to be honest with himself and his fighter to say things need to be changed, whether offense or defense.

Its sort of like Canelo and Chepo. If Chepo lets Canelo's slow footspeed go over his head or simply ignores his fighter's fault(s) then Canelo will be peaking in skill.

A change of trainer could help but a trainer/fighter relationship and chemistry together is important to the fighter.

You're right about all that. I guess with time we will tell. But how many times have we seen fighters stick with a trainer cause they wanna be loyal to them or have some sort of chemistry but the trainer really isnt improving the fighter.
