Ward is 6'1" and should be aiming for LHW. (Kovalev is 6 foot even.)

Golovkin is 5'10" and should be looking for the Alvarez and Cotto fights first and foremost. Especially since Cotto holds a belt in GGG's division.

      i'm sure he can.
i really don't want him to. there's nothing left to prove at 168 lbs.

it is time to move up. fight once more at the full limit, and then take on kovalev at the full limit.

So **** him and **** you too
We know Ward won't be fighting GGG, because GGG doesn't want to fight Ward, and GGG's promoter has already said that Ward "does not make financial sense." GGG will go up for Froch, Chavez Jr., or go down for Mayweather, Canelo, or Cotto. We get it! GGG wants money, or he'll pick safe fights. I'm not mad at him. But I must say K2 has not produced! GGG won't be fighting Cotto, Canelo, Mayweather, Lara, Jacobs, Quillen, Ward, Froch, basically GGG won't be fighting anybody with skills for the next 18 months, and he's already 33! Very sad! I would love to find out if GGG is really good, but it seems we won't have that pleasure! And **** you too!

Ward faces no problems in making the 168 limit.
He was only after some speculations hype for his comeback.

Mayweather can fight at 147 and 152 but Ward can't fight at 168 and 172?

Ward shouldn't leave 168, remain the king at 168 and fight some fighters at 175 but don't go higher than 172 so you can fight in both Divisions

We all know why some want him to move up to 175 but it is nothing at 175 besides Kovalev and the rest are with Haymon so it is no guarantee you will be able to get them in the ring. 168 is heating up, DeGale has joined the top of that Division, Jack and Groves will fight, the fighter out of Mexico with Bob Arum has some potential. No you don't leave 168 to move up to 175 permanently

                i'm not sure about that.

without a doubt, he wasn't anywhere near 168 lbs in his several months / more than a year off. he aged a year and change. there's no way of knowing how his body would react to 168.

they wanted to give him a fight to get his weight down, and get paid whgile doing it. it's much safer to take a fight at a catchweight first, just to be sure.

Wards promoter also said it doesnt make financial sense, even though theyre the only ones with the money to make it. But if Ward is really itching for it, hes gotta convince his people to make an offer, like the A sider he claims to be

If you try to make 168 for GGG you will get served Dawson style. Which is fitting given what he did to Dawson.
