I don't hate on Cotto. I like him, well I use to, before he started acting like a diva. He's a future hall of famer. I just understand that he's past his prime and he's seen better days. I understand that he would be facing a naturally bigger fighter in Canelo. And he would be fighting a naturally bigger fighter in GGG. Both of those guys have devastating punching power that Cotto would not be able to handle. Cotto would be out of gas by the championship rounds. He would likely be KOed in both fights. That's all.

This is little kid forum speak. Cotto is a businessman who understands money in a way that Canelo never will. Remember Canelo wanted to fight Cotto on Cinco de Pendejo?

Based on what precedent? One loss and even Canelo accepted defeat without using any sort of excuse. The only people that bring up the CW are the Pacquiao fans.

If anything it's on the other side that the excuses fly in whether it's PED accusations, blaming the trainer, lack of motivation ,or simply settling for moral victories based of winning a few rounds. There always seems to be a justification for a loss other than the fighter himself.
