    Comments Thread For: Ward: I Told Golovkin's Promoter - Stop Lying To Fans!

    WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward, and IBO/WBA middleweight champ Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, have been trading harsh words on BoxingScene.com in the last few days.

    On Monday, Golovkin took off the gloves and let his words fly after he was angered by some of Ward's statements.

    Ward claims, in this video interview provided to BoxingScene.com, that last month he personally confronted Golovkin's promoter, Tom Loeffler, and told the head of K2 Promotions to "stop lying to the fans" with respect Golovkin's willingness to fight him.

          Ward is quite articulate. Him and Golovkin is reminiscent of Mayweather and Pacquiao in the sense that Golovkin is a talented fighter but at the same time he is a carefully marketed and product.

                      "be honest" says the guy who on 3 or 4 occasions had courts rule that his allegations against Goosen were completely false. LOL what a clown........

                              It's actually Ward that has been carefully marketed.

                              GGG has taken risks, and fought all over the world: Monaco, USA, Germany.

                              Andre Ward will not fight a decent opponent outside his home country. He always demands his most comfortable weight, home advantage, etc. And inside the ring, Ward has always been defense-first, and when he feels in jeopardy, he resorts to illegal tactics.

                              It's obvious from his Ward is extremely envious of Golovkin. They don't even fight in the same weight division.
