A few weeks ago a light heavyweight tilt between Jean Pascal and Yunieski Gonzalez was announced as the HBO co-feature to Sergey Kovalev's debut outing at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas versus Nadjib Mohemmedi on July 25th.
But, multiple sources have told BoxingScene.com that that match-up is on the verge of falling apart over undisclosed reasons.
And in their place could be WBC flyweight titlist, Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez, who made a successful premiere on the network on May 16th by blowing out Edgar Sosa in two rounds. Some of the names being mentioned to face 'Chocolatito' are Brian Viloria and Giovanni Segura.
