    There is no deal as of yet, but the negotiations continue for a featherweight battle between Mexican rivals Abner Mares and Leo Santa Cruz. The fight is being targeted to take place on a Showtime televised date of August 29th or September 5th, according to ESPN Deportes.

    The rumored televised co-feature is a super featherweight rematch between the champion of the World Boxing Organization, Roman 'Rocky' Martinez and former world champion Orlando "Siri" Salido. The fought in an action fight this past April with Martinez capturing the belt.

      This will be LSC first real test. I can't wait. Given their styles it should be very entertaining. It still goes the distance though.

                  Sadly Mares hasnt looked like his fearless former self since Johnny derailed him.

                  Then again, LSC is such a limited cherry picking 'warrior' that Mares should be confident. That said, despite all, LSC is a challenge.

                          mares should easily win this fight and if hnot it basically proves hes shot to ish,

                          thers no way a guy likel mares should lose to a plodder brawler like lsc,,especially not when u hooked up with ****** hunter,

                                  I'm glad this fight is taking place, and it has a pretty good co feat fight, but why so late in the year. This fight should be taking place in late July, but I'll take it.
