I tried to upload the mini videos I took. I also took pics with both and then went to Fernando Vargas gym. I didnt take a video there because I was in fan boy mode, got caught up in the moment lol. Did take a pic with him. Extremely accessible, asked the lady in the mini lobby of the gym if Fernando was there, which I think might be his wife or someone related and she said yes. Walked in, very few people and Vargas came out of the bathroom, awkward for 1 sec then I used my conversation skills and we talked for a good 6-7 minutes.

I brought up the Trinidad wrap situation he talked about in a video. He told me how he went to the hospital after the fight and that Tito cried and apologized to him as if he had done something wrong. Told me they werent allowed to protest the wraps and how the wraps would harden when wet. Also told me Titos punches felt unnaturally strong, like a baseball bat. He still only remembers fractions of the fight, of what happened that night. Very interesting story.

Vargas took a bad beating in that fight. I wonder if he ever watched the fight in its entirety, especially since he doesn't remember what happened.

I am outraged at all these so called "boxing fans" even entertaining the thought of Mayweather/Golovkin. That is complete NON SENSE, BULLSHT FIGHT. Floyd Mayweather Jr has ABSOLUTELY NO NEED to fight fckin GGG. Don't even bring that "oh but Canelo is about the same size as GGG" bullsht either, it's just pure fckery. Gennady is supposed to be the undisputed MIDDLEWEIGHT champion of the world, him calling out the WELTERWEIGHT champion of the world should not be torelable at all. GGG, focus on fighting guys your size or bigger (see Ward, Froch etc) and Floyd focus on fighting guys your size or bigger (see Khan, Thurman, García etc). It's just common sense, it's a shame that everyone is just blinded by the wish of seeing Floyd lose smh.

There have been a few significant boxing figures entertaining this fight as well. Not everyone who wants to see this fight is a casual. (Look up Robert Garcia, Teddy Atlas talk about it) I hope more people get asked about this outside of Floyd's camp so we can see where others land on this. In fact, almost all of the people that I've heard say they don't want to see it are people in Floyd's camp and Floyd fans.

I agree with that. Mayweather's status as an ATG and as the best fighter of this generation is not contingent on this fight, but it would be an awesome fight. Not every fight is being made because he "needs" them. He doesn't "need" to fight Amir Khan or anyone else either. No one at 147 troubles Mayweather at this point, and frankly not sure how many 147 fighters I'd even watch fight Mayweather. Yes that means he's "boring" but that's because he's so much better than other fighters.

TLDR: He doesn't need to fight GGG, but virtually no one is suggesting that he does need to. It's just a fight we'd like to see.

A little taller maybe, but slightly shorter reach and about the same in-ring weight.
Speaking of reach, Mayweather would have the reach advantage over GGG.

Conveniently leaving out that Mayweather is the Super Welterweight/Light Middleweight champ and that GGG wants to move down to fight him. Plus, are you suggesting that there is no precedence for this in boxing history?

Ward fighting a tuneup on BET @172, probably doesn't look like a great time to pick this fight to GGG and camp. Froch looks pretty set on retirement.
Of course if either of these fighters were announced, that would be awesome. In the meantime, what can GGG do other than call out the big names and hope one sticks?
