To my knowledge that's Ward's most attended fight to date (Dawson was just over 8,500). Between the discounts & comps it might've been papered, but still strong turn out which is probably the biggest thing for Ward tonight. Still haven't seen the fight, but I'm interested in how he looked.


Still can't believe RN paid him $2mill for this and Smith another quarter mill on top of paying BET & on top of renting Oracle & operational expenses. Anyone who says RN doesn't have the money to poney up for a Golovkin fight doesn't know ****.

I didn't watch all of it but Ward looked pretty sharp the whole time I was watching. Then again, I suppose that's the point of picking a 50/1 underdog as your comeback fight. I'm looking forward to seeing more from him.
