There was no guarantee that Floyd would ever fight him again if he delayed or postponed the May 2nd fight. Manny was right to fight on like a warrior. It's what brave fighters do. Aside of all of that, he fought the smartest fight he's ever fought, his defense was amazing and his counter punching was as well. Who the people should be disappointed in, was Floyd Mayweather for running away from injured prey. Manny came to fight like he always does. Floyd had a six inch reach advantage and at least a ten pound functional weight advantage. What did he prove May 2nd?
Floyd proved that he was much better than Manny on May 2nd.

I was also extremely disappointed with Manny's performance as well.

He proved Manny is an inferior fighter to him.

An addendum to my previous post - did we suddenly step into a dimension where Peter Fury's opinion matters?

Ah even if it did, are we forgetting that this happened?

        >***8220;Tyson and his uncle Peter [the fighter***8217;s trainer] are very upset, annoyed and frustrated,"

i can see manny pacquiao can beat floyd mayweather 8 days a week.
look at the replay mayweather would shy to all of the fans in the world because that is not a boxing it is running or 100 meter dash contest.

Okay. If you say so. The tapes tell another story. Floyd wasn't landing much of anything. Manny landed cleaner, harder punches. #FACT. Manny is a REAL fighter and isn't interested in running, holding, using dirty tactics, etc. He doesn't need help from refs, judges, Vegas, the USADA, or anyone else. Floyd promised excitement. He promised to punish Manny. He said Manny was a wreckless fighter who makes a lot of mistakes. Boy was he WRONG! No other ATG would run from an opponent who they had a 6inch reach over, a 10lb weight advantage over, or an opponent who was injured. Now, tell me this. How can you be a fan of such a coward? SRL, Duran, Chavez, Taylor, Whitaker, Trinidad, Hoya, Holyfield, Hagler, Hearns, all would've tried to take Manny out!!!!!!!!!!! Floyd should never be mentioned in the same breath as any of these great fighters again.

Floyd fans forget that in the Castillo fight, Floyd said after the fight that he had his injury BEFORE the fight and it was brave of him to fight with his injury.

Then when people bring up Floyd's poor performance that night, they bring up ..... Floyd's injury. You know. The one that Floyd knew about BEFORE the fight.

Here is a video (years later) of Roger saying, fight went the way it did due to the injury.
