BEST DRIVER IN THE WORLD TODAY. In some parts of the US, if he was driving himself to the track he would be pulled over for DWB.

My favourite non biographical boxing movie...

Im pretty sure that the top F1 driver generally isnt really the best driver, Hamilton just has the best car.

imo daniel racardo is a better driver but the redbull cars just suck this year.

I agree that the cars today play a larger part than they ever did, but with the number of titles and wins that Hamilton has, I stick by my opinion that he is still the best F1 driver in the world today.

I would love to see a return to the days of non computer controlled everything where it all came down to the driver and his skill above all other factors.

BUT!!!!! You cannot dispute that Diggstown is a great boxing movie!!!!

It's improved on what it was. Eminem actually thought being a south paw in boxing was a disadvantage and wanted to make a movie about a south paw defying the odds in an orthodox world. I'm not making that up. That was his original idea.

They should of had a boxer/trainer duo of Jamie Foxx (rags to riches/homeless to champion) and Forest Whitaker could of been the crazy old coach who almost gave up coaching when a young firey kid (Foxx) comes into the gym.
Foxx hasnt been young in 20 years

LOL, yeah i got that vibe from hearing the director blabbing about the movie. Like a southpaw is some sort of outcast thats always struggling Its such a big advantage to be southpaw, especially if you are fast.

The only truth to that is often a good southpaw will find other top fighters less keen to face him, but thats the same kind of **** a big puncher has to deal with

I also agree that with the white american guy thing. People need to understand that in America, certain things sell. Why do you think the UFC is so popular? There are a lot of good white guys in it thats why. It resonate with middle/suburban America. Boxing is a very ethnic sport, like soccer, which is why neither do well in America. Ironic part is boxing and soccer and basically the most popular sports in the world OUTSIDE America. Americans will accept sports that have great blacks, hispanics, etc. in it if there are whites who excel in equal note. For example, baseball or football. Americans love hockey and NASCAR too of course. The NBA isn't as popular because its dominated by blacks. Boxing is filled with people from all over the world with very few, if any, great white american fighters. As I said before, one day when the UFC is filled with mostly blacks and hispanics, it will lose its popularity.

I am a white guy and I see it as well.
I have to assume two things from this.

              1. You don't watch american football. The nfl is over 70% black and around 25% white. How are whites excelling on an even note in football.

              2. You don't live in the USA. You're nuts if you think Hockey and Nascar are more popular than the NBA in the US? You can't possibly live here and think that. The top rated Nascar race in 2015 had 7.4 million viewers. The Stanley cup averaged 7.6 million viewers per game. The NBA finals averaged 19.2 million viewers per game. And think about media coverage of each sport. Basketball is easily at the top of most covered sports whereas hockey and nascar are mentioned almost as little as boxing.

There are almost NO elite caucasian-American boxers in the sport today. So to me it doesn't make sense. It just gives off that "great white hope" type of feel to it that might offend people.

But all in all I'll watch it. Jake is a great actor.
Should havebseen usher hitbthe mitts and shadow box trying to be SRL . Dude looked he never been in a fight in his life.

Like watching a wwe wrestler try and run routes at wr with jerry rice

Plot twist: he sucks ass as a southpaw. New trainer teaches him how to fight orthodox first 5 minutes of the film.

Its not inspired by Eminem, lol.

Its based on a true story, probably very loosely, but it aint about Eminem. When the fug was Eminem a pro boxer? Lol.

Totally disagree with the first point. Just think about the most popular NFL players. When you read my sentence who were the first players that popped into your mind? Manning, Brady, **** even Manziel is doing commercials.

2nd point is 100% accurate though.
