Ward haven't fought for one and a half years, ha has an injury and promotional issues. Pretty good "excuses". I like how Golovkin gets pass for everything from you based on "it's not his fault" but you put Ward on blast based on he "ducks" someone when he didn't even fight for a long time.
And yes it's not odd that a fighter from a lay off like that comes back with a tune up fight. And especially Golovkin fans shouldn't criticize Ward for the Paul Smith fight.
Before you go wild and yell "ducking" take you time and look at the differences between the two guys' accomplishments. You will see a difference.

I remember when last time we had a loud mouth, aggressive fan base yelled "duck" at a certain fighter... At the end of the day their favourite beat the so called duck.
