As I see it Ward's problems with both GGG and Sergey is that they are both better than any other fighter Ward has ever faced, they are both stronger than Andre is, and in addition there is a far greater probability that Sergey and GGG can hurt Andre but he cannot hurt them. This was not the case for Andre's past opponents. So now we wait and see how it plays out. Which one of us has it right.

Then why was Ward getting his lawyer to send challenges to HBO commentators? Why was Ward mouthing off, claiming that he was ready to fight at any time and that the court proceedings did not restrict him at all? Why was Ward even at HBO negotiating?

If Ward is ready now, why doesn't Ward get his rich promoter to make a serious offer to GGG instead of fighting Smith on BET? If he was fighting GGG, they wouldn't have to be handing out free tickets to fill the arena. If he was constantly in the gym for the past 19 months keeping fit and in shape, what need does he have of tune up fights? Other truly great fighters have had much longer layoffs than he did and come back right into competitive matches if not right in to a championship fight! But Ward needs at least TWO tune up fights and his promoter has to buy the air time because no reputable boxing outlet has any interest in him.

Yeah, Ward sure is a top draw in the sport today. Everyone wants to see him fight. Sure they do. In his dreams.
