Walters can still regain the title he lost, assuming he tries to fight at 126 again and makes weight.

It's still the biggest money fight out there for Lomachenko. As far as titles go, Lomo is screwed because WBC and now the WBA are on Haymon's sided of the street. As for the IBF, Selby is going to milk his title in Cardiff for awhile.

Walters has next to zero head movement in the ring. Target practice for Loma

Bob Arum has single handedly ruined boxing. He robbbed us of Gamboa-Lopez, Walters-Lomachenko, and Mayweather-Pacquiao for 6 years. No wonder he has to lock all his fighters into slave contracts.

          Damn the marinade!

It is absolutely NOTHING for Walters at 130 but not sure if he can make 126 so he is in a tough spot.

I still want to see that fight, Walters did not lose or anything, he looked outstanding. So if that fight is still possible I would love to see it!

Remember this is simply the thoughts of Klimas...he has the interests of Loma in terms of putting him into fights which has some sort of reward and also evaluating risk. A fight v Walters now when it isn't a unification is perhaps too much of a risk for Loma. If Loma can get fights v the other champions, it makes more sense to unify and fight Walters later on, maybe at a higher weight. I'm sure Loma is all for the fight, and is up for fighting anyone, but it does make sense to be careful with the timing of such fights. I think if Walters still had the title, we'd be seeing the fight happening this year.

The fight hasnt lost its value to me.

                  The unification was a bonus.

What made Loma vs Walters great was the fighters themselves.

Why should he fight a blown up featherweight who can't even make weight?

Lomachenko will NOT fight Walters now. Walters ruined his opportunity to get embarrassed on live TV by a future ATG.

That overhyped bum doesn't have a title anymore... Loma has bigger fish to fry. Sorry. Nicolas "The Axe Man" Walters will now go back to irrelevancy and decapitate unknown club fighters in Panama and Puerto Rico.

Uchiyama vs Walters would be great at 130 if he can't get Lomenchenko.
