Last week, Danny Garcia finally vacated the junior welterweight title of the World Boxing Council (WBC). Garcia has not defended the title since early 2014 and his last two fights took place at a catch-weight above the 140-pound limit. Following Garcia's decision, the sanctioning organization ordered 31-year-old Ukrainian Viktor Postol (27-0, 11KOs) and former WBC interim-champion, 32-year-old Argentinian Lucas Matthysse (37-3, 34KOs), to battle for the vacant belt.
