They need to have a new rule, no more than 10 pounds gained overnight. Have guys move up if they can't comply with the rule.

    We'll get more even matchups.

And you don't get credit for **** you did 10 years ago today so no Walters doesn't have to hold his tongue. Fact is Floyds active and fighters can take shots at him.
If everyone could fight like Floyd they would. They just can't.

Issue is, you do get credit for what you did 10 years ago today. Without yesterday, there would be no today. Without WHAT Floyd did 10 years ago, there would he no Floyd.

Floyd was knocking out better fighters thsn Walters has even fought ten years ago. That just doesn't disappear.

You mean those pitty pat right hands that don't stop anyone and that everyone looks like they haven't even been in a fight at the end of the fight?

Stop it...Walters body work is like Jose Luis Castillo...unless Walters was fighting the Floyd now who has Vegas in his pocket...I think Floyd would have his hands full...

People are taking what he's saying a bit out of context here. He's saying that yeah, he didn't get the knock out, but it wasn't for a lack of trying and that the best fighter in the world goes 12 rounds all the time so nothing's wrong with it.

He kinda said it in a back hand kinda way, but that's how i took it

You guys are missing the larger picture here...Floyd has built himself on this fake persona of being undefeated (which he's clearly not if you don't count gift decisions)... Malignaggi alluded to this already..Haymon is corrupt and with the kind of Money Floyd makes since the De La Hoya fight... you have to do what Mosley did in round 2 or Maidana did in round 2 and what Pacquiao did in rounds 4 and 6 to even win a round against Floyd...the entire media is behind this fake undefeated storyline because it keeps boxing alive...

What Walters was saying was that..he didn't knock out Marriaga not because he ran and tried to pot shot his way to a cheap victory..but because Marriaga is a tough, undefeated guy in his prime who had never even been dropped before this fight...in other words, Floyd doesn't fight tough, undefeated opponents and try to go for the KO (at least he hasn't since Corrales and if you want to count Hatton who had been exposed by Collazo the fight before and was small for a WW)...

Only way Walters has a career by 38 is if he can still make 135 lbs by then lol... At the higher weight classes...he clearly won't be as effective... I'm talking about fighting Walters 126-130..I think he'd be tough for anyone...
