The thing with Wilder is that he has tremendous power. His raw power can overcome whatever short comings he has in boxing technique. That power makes him very live in any fight he's in. And that includes Povetkin and Klitschko.

      New breed of nut hugger..

Wilder is still an amateur. He gets iced by the far superior Russian Povetkin. Watch the new beyotch on the block Haymon steer clear of every HW in the top 5.

Having something and using it are two different things. Wilder can't put it together and by the time he does he will be KOd.

This guy not only has to take a refresher course in basic boxing, he has to learn how to keep the boxing brain actually working... for the training to do any good. It wouldn't matter if it was Breland or whoever... if the guy basically panics and forgets everything once he's out there on the big stage... what good could any trainer be?

He needs to leave the ego orbit behind and learn how to automatically remember what he's taught. Otherwise it's lights out and career shot after the first intense challenge.
          Exactly. You have it nailed.

Povetkin runs ALL OVER Wilder. Let's be real folks. Wilder has fought ONE top ten HW. ONE. And a fat out of shape cruiser about KOd him. Seriously. The trouble he was in SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED if he were the real deal. Holyfield would have cleared Molina out in 1 round. Actually, Holy wouldn't have even fought the C class fighter.

In case Wilder and his fans haven't noticed Povetkin has been beating legit top ten fighters. And if Wlad couldn't stop him how much of a punchers chance is Wilder realistically even going to have?
No. Perez is down to 25. Charr isn't much higher.

Why do you think Povetkin is some type of monster? He has short arms, so-so power, slow feet. What makes anyone think he's going to get inside Wilder to do anything to him.
