I get the feeling Wilder's handlers were set with the exact same scenario when Stiverne-Arreola were set to fight for the title, but Wilder's ceiling seems to be pretty low so they've cashed out on him and will eventually throw him to the wolves.
He's not young either, so his handlers know they have to milk him for all the money get can get before time runs out on him. They have a very small window to make him a big name, milk him and cash out.

Don't confuse toughness with skills. Toughness can't be taught. Molina had that but limited skills and fitness still touched wilders chin. Wilder a work in progress pulls straight back bad d

Yeah a very small window. They'll prob find a bunch of Peter Mcneelys and go the route of post-prison Tyson, until he's forced to vacate or fight mandatories.

I wouldn't go so far as some have been by saying Molina showed tremendous heart, but he definitely didn't go there to lay down either. And he totally could of because that's what most people were expecting. He definitely earned his $250k in my mind.

But more importantly, this showed that Wilder has vulnerabilities and that his boxing game isn't as natural as it is to those who start as little kids. He still has a height advantage over most, and definitely packs a punch but that might not be enough to save him. For his sake I hope he appreciates how much improvement there is to be made and gets to workin.
