Overweight Nicholas Walters stripped of WBA title

Nicholas Walters has been stripped of his WBA featherweight title after failing to make the weight for his latest defence.
What is it with these boxers failing to make weight all the time. Poor discipline? fighting too small a division for their body?
Greed.

He's massive at the weight and has been relatively inactive (8 months since Donaire). It's one of the reasons that another big guy like Brook has been active, to keep his weight in check and it seems to be working.

Not surprised, his last fight was delayed because of weight issues. Sucks.

He is obviously big for the weight. Shame if the chance of a 'Walters vs Loma' unification fight has gone out of the window.
