He called him out once to let people know he would fight him. Contrast that to GGG who name drops Cotto or Canelo every time he can, flies out their fights, and then asks reporters to ask him about fighting Mayweather.

I don't know anyone who would want to take a harder job for less money.
Ward will punch then clinch and probably win, then GGG makes less and is screwed.

Why wouldn't you go for the most money?

Everybody and their brother calls out the biggest names because they wanna get paid. Hell even Roy Jones called out DLH.

I have called him about Golovkin. We’ve talked about some fights and I think those 2 fights are possible. I just think the time has to be right for both of them. I don’t think now is necessarily the time for them.”

Ward kept it real on that note. ggg is the king of the ring with the level of competition he's fighting. Calling out his name just to sell himself. I know a lot of ggg fans are sore about Ward's comments, but he is hitting some key points.

Now who's fabricating & exaggerating. I assume you're talking about the video where the reporters ask Golovkin as his training if he's ready for Mayweather and Golovkin responds something like- "You ask him if he's ready for me".

As for Cotto - Golovkin's is his mandatory in the same weight class. Cotto was the little dog who stole food from the bigger dog when he fought and beat Martinez - the MW champ. Cotto put himself in the line of fire by taking the thing Golovkin was initially chasing. Did Ward drop down to 160 like he said he would for Floyd and win the MW title?

Golovkin calls out Alvarez almost as much as Ward was calling out Chavez after Martinez one-sided Chavez.

I did and that's what you call an excuse.

I doubt the money will ever be right for them to put GGG in with Ward for it be worth the added risk. Dont be ****** and suggest that Roc Nation just give away millions money to GGG to make the fight. GGG's people are willing to put Froch vs GGG on regular HBO and bend over backwards to do whatever possible to make fights with Canelo, Cotto, Froch, Chavez Jr, and Mayweather. When it comes to Ward though there are all these hurdles in the way.

I assume you're talking about Haymon's Lara? I assume you know that Golovkin has a contract with HBO? I assume you are aware of the issues of getting Haymon fighters on HBO?

As for Golovkin's fans, there's plenty of them who'd love to see him in with Lara or Ward.
