Rising Russian super featherweight champion Evgueny Chuprakov (13-0, 7 KOs) looked solid and fit in the fourth-round stoppage of recent debutant Musaib Asadov (1-2) in a scheduled warm-up eight-rounder. The fight served as a main event of a local show, promoted tonight by German Titov Box Promotions in Ekaterinburg and aired live by BoxingTV.
Asadov was no match for better equipped and much more experienced Chuprakov. The Azerbaijani was able to match his opponent’s power in rounds one and two but as soon as Chuprakov accelerated his assault and mixed it up with body punches, Asadov started to dissipate. Chuprakov repeatedly hurt his opponent in the fourth round, finally forcing him to retire on his stool after that round.
