Delboy Dereck Chisora To Split With Long-Time Trainer Don Charles?

Seems Dereck Chisora is splitting with his long-time trainer, Don Charles, and seeking a replacement as he steps out of retirement and stages another offensive on the world heavyweight scene. But who do you think could best help revitalize his career and return him to the path of world title contention?

Who should Chisora hire to train him?

About time. Don Charles thinks he's Angelo Dundee, never been a good trainer and even physically assaulted Dereck in the gym when preparing for the Haye fight.

That's that idiot who wears the flag over his face and slaps his opponent at the weigh in and spits in the champion's face. That's the guy who loses when he fights a top heavyweight. He will never be a champion, just a ****** clown and a bully.

I don't really think he needs a new trainer, he needs a new promoter. Matching him with Fury again was ******, ruined his momentum.

Chisora always gives his best in the ring and for that you have to respect him.

I'm not sure if a new trainer so late in his career would help him.

I agree with that too, he was on like a 5 fight win streak and was the British and European champ. Fury has always been a bad stylisti match up for him so which ******'s idea was too match them up, both of them should have went different routes.

I think Charles did a good job with Chisora up to a point. Chisora performed well against Vitali and he beat Helenius in most people's eyes. Charles played a part in that.

But Chisora I think would benefit from a new trainer because Charles has taught Chisora nearly all he knows from his experience. It's time for Chisora to continue to pick up additional skills from another trainer, try to develop his style and skill set further. Everyone has limitations and no one trainer knows it all.

They were the two best domestic heavies at the time.

I get your point, Chisora could have probably clocked up a couple of more decent wins, but I'd rather see our best fighters face each other, it's was pretty 50/50 going into it and we don't get enough of those amongst the big names. I don't think fighters shouldn't take fights just because they may lose.

They were overdue a rematch with both fighters having improved drastically since their first fight and it was a final eliminator for the world title. It was the right time for them both as they wanted a shot at Wlad.
