People still think Broner is a legit top tier guy? He barely beat Malignaggi. He would be lucky to crack top 5 at 140. He has no hope of being top 10 at 147. He is Floyd's Derrick "Smoke" Gainer.

I didn't read the article, is Fraud teaching Boner how to beat up on women? To gamble? Kidnap? Assault and battery? Hold a woman hostage and threaten her with ****?

I know it's not how to be a ****sexual, they both excel at that.

Broner never said anything about Mayweather teaching him about footwork.

My opinion... May is too full of himself to be a good teacher. Teaching is about passing the torch, and May ain't interested in that just yet.

Any help he offers someone in the "dog pound" will be condescending at best.

Malignaggi was a world champion at the time, coming off 5 straight wins, before he lost to Broner. Besides, Broner's only loss was against Maidana, one of Mayweather's toughest opponents.

I remember a time when Floyd said Broner wasn't trying to take advice from him....

Either way, I still think Broner sucks, and no advice from Floyd will change that.

Malignaggi was a good fringe contender at the time (paper title aside). Don't try to tell me he was more than that. He was on a roll, but he was never one of the best in the division and never could hang with the best.

I'm not saying Broner is a bad fighter, he just isn't one of the best let alone the future of boxing. To be fair, there is a lot of talent at 140-147 right now. Maybe if this was a weak era he would be more relevant.

Crawford and Matthysse would murder him at 140. I have doubts that he can be cute enough to beat Provodnikov as well. He'd have stiff competition trying to make it into the top 5 against the other guys. Do I even need to go into the 147 fighters?

Honestly, the fight with Porter is a good fight for him now. If he wins over Porter in impressive fashion I'll revise my statement to maybe capable of being 3rd best at 140 and somewhere around 7th or 8th best at 147.

ya the only other option is create distance and open yourself up which only helps porter its pretty much porters own fault for being clinched he has no concept of fighting with distance he just loves to smother himself and leave no room for anything else
