As other posters have mentioned, even before the Darchinyan fight there was rumors that he was having trouble making weight. It's not surprising, Walters and Mikey Garcia are some of the biggest featherweight I've seen. We all saw how Mikey struggled to make weight.

I really like Walters, but I'm hoping Marriaga can pull the upset. Think about it, if Walters doesn't make weight and he wins, we won't see the Lomachenko unification. Even if he makes the weight, will he be able to make it once more? Granted if Walters beats Marriaga easily and fast, they should make Loma vs. Walters fast so Walters could go into training camp as soon as the fight is over. But if Marriaga wins, we'll see the unification.

I know. One of the biggest fights in boxing just got destroyed. I was really looking forward to see how the featherweight division was going to play out too.
