Porter has heart and d@mn I like the guy. He is humble and just down to earth. He is animal in the ring and a killer. But yes he seem's to be lacking something which is a bit of skill and athleticism. I mean his last fight with that last second replacement, he was getting gassed way to quickly for what he was doing. His punches just aren't very sharp either. Just heavy flailing power

It's not that Porter is a bad win. Average win.

It's that that's really about it for Brook. That's what put him on the map. But people talk about him like he has a list of 20 big names he destroyed.

An average fighter becomes a Godlike fighter at 147 after 1 good win because they're pumped up as the answer to Floyd. In any other division Brook would be a nobody. That's why 147 is deceptively shallow.

Add some UK hype machine to that. That's Brook.

If he loses once, to anyone, they will all love Khan (UK hypers) or Thurman (Floyd obsessers) again.

I'd like to see Porter move to 154 and land a fight with Canelo. At the very least he could probably snatch that belt from K9 right now. He isn't suited to be chasing and fighting slick faster guys at welter

Porter at 154 makes sense considering his amateur career, he's about to face Broner at 144 tho

I know such a horrible move for him. I don't even think he can make that weight I mean seriously

That tale of the tape says Porter is 5'5".

                  Boxrec says 5'7"?

If he's 5'5" you almost wonder if losing muscle and moving down would be a better move than 154.

He fights very stocky and has to leap the distance for every punch which makes him look terrible against patient observant fighters like Brook.

lmao watch Broner make hypejob Kelly's best win look not so good.

Broner's about to look much better than Kelly.

You'll see why they're keeping Kelly away from B class fighters on the 20th.
He knocked out Paulie when Paulies never been stopped... Foh
