  • Comments Thread For: Eric Molina: I'm Going in There To Hurt Deontay Wilder

WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder says Eric Molina should fear his power ahead of their clash this weekend.

The undefeated Wilder returns to Alabama for the first defence of his title live on Sky Sports in the early hours of Sunday and is hoping to continue the resurgence of the heavyweight division by putting on an impressive show.

Molina, 33, has been stopped in the first round twice in his career and few expect the challenger to hear the final bell.

-you obviously haven't watched the actual Arreola-Molina fight.
-Molina was making one of his first forays into the heavyweight division (walked into the ring at a soft 220)

A solid 30 pounds heavier, five straight wins under his belt (the three most recent by stoppage), and a right hand that is seeming legit at the weight, you've got the makings for a good fight.

Still think Wilder wins (in pretty impressive form), but if you're expecting the Molina who fought Arreola to show up, you're missing out.

Molina should not last one minute of one round.

lol No. He wasn't soft and he certainly wasn't as soft as Arreola. He stung Arreola a little bit and it was not one of his first heavyweight fights. WTF are you tlaking about? That was like the twelfth time he fought as a heavyweight! And he'd even already been KO1'd *at heavyweight* BEFORE Arreola. And I watched the Arreola fight. Looked like he didn't even want to get up even knowing he could hurt Arreola. That was not a championship mentality effort.

Although I have Wilder winning. I would not he surprised at all if he lost. And possibly got stopped.
