What I got from Paulie was that this is probably his last fight, and he doesn't want to go out on his back. Might be code for Peterson II: on his bike a lot, in the pocket the last 4-5 rounds, raises his hand as if he won at the end . When everyone knows he gave away the first half and lost the fight.
