Danny Garcia spoke to WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman and after a very emotional conversation, agreed to relinquish his Green and Gold belt. The World Boxing Council has declared the WBC super lightweight title vacant. Danny's weight situation forced his decision to fight at welterweight and confirmed his physical ability to compete in that division while assessing the possibility of returning to 140 pounds.

No Surprise he is moving up to 147 and Paulie will be his first fight at Welterweight which I think could prove to be a very tough stylistic fight for Danny if Paulie still has his Legs.
