fury is wide open for one of wlad's murderous straight rights down the pipe. i think it will be a good fight though, somewhat like the pulev fight

      LacedUp:
About what? Is Wlad not known for being the biggest wrestler in the sport of boxing?

In one of his recent fights he hugged more than he punched! And it's not even something I make up, it literally happened.[/QUOTE]

Yes, I saw the Povetkin fight, ugly as hell. A lot of that was on Povetkin though: charging in like a rhino, probably thought Wlad would back pedal. Instead, Wlad took half a step fwd so they ended up looking like bumper cars with a huge size difference. This shouldn´t be a problem vs Fury so you´ll have to think of another excuse.

It will be nothing like the Pulev fight. Fury will be on his toes, moving around, working angles, he won't just stand straight in front of Wlad like Pulev did & wait to get knocked out.

i only meant that it would be over relatively quickly and fury might at some point buzz wlad, like pulev did. i'm not sure if i expect fury to try and outbox wlad, though. i think he'll want to lead the action. i know his arms are longer than wlad's but he seem to prefer his opponent to be well within his reach before he unloads

I think Fury will use his superior conditioning and engine to outwork Wlad over the 12, the biggest problem for Fury is keeping concentration throughout the fight. All it takes is one big punch from Wlad and it's game over. Fury's lack of one punch KO power is a worry as well, but i think he hits hard enough to keep Wlad honest.

Fury is a fair formidable guy, he might talk a lot of smack and that definitely boosts his standings a lot, but he definitely has some good as well.

You don't get a 260lber at 6'9" who can box like Fury, or is as strappy either.

The guy will present Wladimir with a unique kind of fight.

It's a Super Fight, make no mistake!

A lot better fight than Bum Squad!

Fury is pretty quiet nowadays, i think he's probably realised that his antics are costing him money in terms of mainstream TV appeal etc.

Wlad is right. Fury is more well know for his talk and antics than his boxing.
That said, I think Fury deserves his shot. I fully expect Wlad to beat him, but i'd put Fury down as a bigger challenge than Wilder.

Nah, why wouldn't he? It's low-risk, high-reward. He loses? Just another guy who lost to Wlad, once Wlad retires won't matter at all. He wins? He's the HW Champion of the World
