    The referee for the June 20 fight between Adrien Broner and Shawn Porter will be the highly respected Tony Weeks, who was selected for the bout during the June 11 meeting of the Nevada Athletic Commission.

    Broner vs. Porter will headline a “Premier Boxing Champions” card airing on NBC. With Broner now fighting at junior welterweight and Porter a welterweight, the fight has a contractual catch-weight of 144 pounds.

      Tony Parachute Shirt Weeks is incompetent. That stoppage of Canelo-Angulo was LAME. I don't trust that ***** no more.

              You obviously wanted to see Angulo seriously hurt he was done,and taking a beating.At least he let's fighters fight on the inside wthout constantly breaking them.

                      Angulo is a warrior, his whole career and talent consists of absorbing damage and fighting thru it. That's who he is. It was a lame little punch, Angulo eats those for breakfast. Bad stoppage. Angulo was about to pull a Margarito on Canelo.
