in relation to the plaster theory if margarito had used plaster paris against cotto then why the hell did he take his glvoes off in the ring? when people were shaking his hand wouldnt they have felt something unusual?

furthermore, cotto face doesnt show signs of plaster damage. compare his face to a real victim of plaster and u can see massive difference

so has anyone on here got any evidence that margarito used plaster paris

this is how cotto looked after margarito 2, swollen and bruised, all marked up. aside from the cut, he looks worse imo. was tony using plaster in the second one too?

You're comparing Cotto's face during the fight to the other picture which was taken at least 24 hours later. You obviously have no idea how much worse you look overnight.

i cant explain them because i dont know nothing about handwraps, maybe it was just a bad wrap.
With Collins, he was not only hit with plaster of paris, but the stuffing of the gloves were also removed. He was literally being hit with bricks with a leather casing in form of a glove.

In the Cotto/Margarito fight, there was also a su****ious conversation in Tony's corner in one of the middle rounds where they ask him about his punch. Something like, "How's your punch?" or similar. I can't fully recall but there were some videos posted back in the day about it.

I think one of the biggest factors for Cotto was getting his nose broken early in the fight, causing him to breathe through his mouth and swallow a lot of blood.

Respectfully, that is you trying to give Margs the benefit of the doubt as a fan.

Which do you believe dude, #1 or #2? Please answer.

My guess is in your heart, despite being a Margs fan, it's #2.

Best case was it was #1 and someone in Margs camp told ****m so he knew to look.

Since that is unlikely, is there any plausible reason to believe anything but #2?

Stop posting, because you have no clue what you're talking about. You're still ignoring the 24 hour waiting period and worst of all... Resto not only had loaded wraps they took the padding out of his gloves. So it was basically bare knuckles wrapped in a cast.

That was Marg's left hand wrap. That isn't blood on it, it's dye from the gloves, they bleed when they get wet with sweat. The problem is it was stained with glove dye, but he never put a glove on that hand when ****m got into the dressing room. When he saw that fall out he made them check the other hand, already laced up without ****m in the room. That one had a brick in it as well.

Margarito when asked by CSAC said he had never felt anything different between what he had in his wraps in the Mosley fight than any other fight. So taking all the evidence and Margarito stating he never felt a difference it's pretty logical to say he used the same ones against at least Cotto. And since he was busted he won 1 fight against a cab driver and got his **** pushed in 3 other times. Case closed.

Resto admitted to it on a documentary.

Can you think of another boxer that had broken wraps & gauze after a fight?

                Gauze doesnt "break" btw.

Also, after Mosley, Tony hadn't hurt or stopped anyone since. A former sparring partner whose name I can't remember, also spoke out that he felt he used the pads in sparring too, and got some lasting damage. This was all aired out 7 years ago or so, so my memory of the details isn't complete.

That was not Plaster of Paris it was removing of the PADDING by Luis Resto.
