Porter -'I'm a better boxer than Maidana'

He's spot on, he's a far better boxer and overall fighter than Maidana. He can fight going backwards, very quick feet and hands, good jab, athletic. He doesn't hit as hard as Maidana but he's physically stronger and takes a better punch as well.

I see him beating the **** outta AB even though I don't think he will be 100% healthy at 144.

Meh, I don't agree. He looks cleaner than Maidana's unconventional style, but it isn't as effective. People often confuse more technical for more skilled.

I disagree but I think Porter will obliterate Broner. Broner does not have the defense nor skill to neutralize Porter's relentlessness and power.

And one thing Porter definitely has more of than Maidana is speed. If Broner couldn't see Maidana's punches coming, Porter's faster punches might be hell for him.

No, he's better conditioned, physically stronger and maybe a tad bit more durable but that's about it.

Porter is definitely a better boxer than Broner.

Honestly I think too many people are judging Porter based on the Brook fight. He fought like a caveman in that fight but he's got skill, watch some of his other fights, he's a good boxer when he's not the aggressor, he showed it against Diaz in patches, in both fights.

He gets impatient too easily, he needs to be more disciplined in the ring, he's got very quick hands and good footwork, he needs to use it more.

He had a great amateur career, beat some top guys.
