I hope you are correct because I like Porter but I think the CW will beat him on the scales. He will be weight drained and Broner will take advantage - that's why Broner wanted the weight reduction. AB knows he can't beat Porter at full welterweight.

Yeah he's fighting Porter, but at a silly catchweight of 144lbs, because nobody else sensible would agree to it.

And provided Broner wins, what exactly does it prove? That he can beat a top Welterweight, 3 pounds under the divisional max. Not terribly impressive.
