Listen, I'm a certified Cotto fan, but Margs beat the boy plain and simple. I doubt he had loaded wraps because if he did then Cotto's training staff is very incompetent considering they have to watch his trainer do his wraps in the dressing room. There's no way you miss a guy putting plaster in his wraps. No way. The commission is there too.
And even then, Marg beat Cotto because of his amazing chin and stamina. Those uppercuts were vicious, and Cotto had no answer. 100% pressure is all it takes to beat Cotto and that's exactly what Marg did.
I honestly believe a lot of Puerto Rican fans are just mad because it was Pacquiao who retired Margs, not Cotto. The rematch was a farce. It literally meant nothing but they were still happy to run away with that one.Comment

Real Margarito fans know that Tony was a beast only at 147. When he went to 154, he got his ass handed to him by Daniel freaking Santos..TWICE.
Like I said earlier in this thread, he was one of my favorite fighters to watch, his pride will have him fighting GGG. Stay retired, join up with Robert Garcia and become a trainer.
He had an unbelievable work ethic in gymsComment

the first fight at 147 ended in a NC at in the first round and the second fight most people had marg winning so i'm not seeing where the ass handing was? maybe that was the blu-ray directors cut edition of marg-santos with commentary from jim watt?Real Margarito fans know that Tony was a beast only at 147.
