If Loeffler thinks that the WBC will not sanction Cotto/Alvarez for the WBC belt, he must also believe in the tooth fairy. If he thinks Cotto is going to pay Golovkin a step-aside fee so that he can fight Alvarez for three or four times the amount of money he would make fighting Golovkin, then Loeffler also believes in Santa Claus.

Golovkin has no power in this matter and cannot force Cotto to do a damn thing. The only thing he can hope for is that Cotto will agree to fight him after Cotto KO's Alvarez.
The WBC has already said that because Cotto took so long to do his voluntary, that a step-aside deal for GGG must be reached in order for Canelo-Cotto to be for the WBC title. Lets see if they hold to their word.

Yeah I know. I said I wasn't aware of a single offer GGG passed on. Then this windup says, well what about Lara?

For them its also the most lucrative fight for the winner, unless he fights Floyd next, which would be a disgrace since he's too small to defend his SWW belt at 154 for 3 years plus

Cotto doesn't want Golovkin because he knows his career will over after that fight. More importantly his manhood would be robbed again after he's forced to take a knee and quit in front of his fans and family. Maybe he would make more illegal handwrap accusations just like that other puertorican Rosado did.

Don't underestimate Tom, he's been in business for quite a long time, made big fights, and for sure doesn't believe in Santa claus.

No deal then motherfkers...You need Cotto and Alvarez more than they need you. Stop trying to fight welterweights and go fight Andre Ward.

This is becoming pathetic, picking on smaller guys. Ward will get his tuneup out of the way and you can go make that fight right afterwards...fight somebody that will actually FIGHT BACK!!!

Oh and GGG fans, before you get started with the Ward fight Kovalev nonsense...Duva said that Roc Nation and herself have had preliminary discussions...that doesn't look like someone who ducking to me.
Your agenda is clear as a Chrystal. You want GGG out of MW division so that your "little guys" could party there. Which is why you preaching that 159 lb Golovkin fougth 172 lb Ward. No such luck for you! These creeps will forever fight in their made up 155-157 divisions and will be a laughing stock.

Damn!!! Please re -read your post! You sound dumb as all hell. No drawing power?? Just walk into on coming traffic and do us all a favor...

                    • Their is a really simple resolution here, but I believe Mayweather will fight Cotto next or the Cotto Canelo winner for middle lineage. Cotto and Canelo have made it clear they ain't interested in facing GGG, those guys should simply face each other for the vacant JMW WBC title upon Floyd vacating, GGG can then get his WBC belt against Heiland, as pathetic as it sounds.

I'm thinking Floyd still has a huge part to play in all this with the small Cotto holding the WBC 160 belt and lineage. I'd happily see that fight although id much rather see Cotto vs Canelo, I understand money will be a decisive factor whom Cotto fights next.

Canelo is not mandated and really is looking to Cotto for a hand out as GGG I'd hanging about hoping to get a handout. Dude needs to get in line and accept he's too big for these guys and they don't owe him jack.
