    Anyone going to the Lara-Rodriguez fight at the UIC Pavilion?

    I know there are some Chicagoans here! I'm thinking about going, anyone here gonna go?

    I wouldn't bother buying tickets. It's a PBC event and you know they will be giving tickets away for free.

            Yeah, go to 1iota.com. I was was at the Dirrell/Jack card. Got the free tickets from 1iota. They were letting in people who didn't even have tickets printed out.

              Going to a live event is great but I would really recommend going to a better card that actually has an authentic atmosphere with some excitement in the air.

                They never have cards in Chicago and I don't got $$ like that to go to Vegas or NY. One day, just not now lol

                    I recommend going. I have been to everything from Floyd fights at the MGM to local fights on FS1. Fights always have great atmospheres and you can meet other local fight fans as well as fighters. I go to FNF cards in Miami all the time since we don't get the big events and I have seen the Dirrell Brothers, Shawn Porter, Gamboa, Abel Sanchez, Rigondeaux, Antonio Tarver, Andriy Kotelnik, Jameel McCline, Evander Holyfield, Mickey Ward, and several other pro fighters and trainers that are just there to enjoy a good night of boxing.

                    Even if the main event flops there are usually like 10 fights on the card.
