Except if Nonito is fighting for a WBA Belt, it would be for the Regular Championship. Rigondeaux is the Super Champion.

Haymon may have the most power right now in boxing, but arum is definitely the smartest guy in boxing and for the most part puts on the best cards. I think top rank has the best overall talent as well.

          From Rafael:

Promoter Bob Arum is talking about doing a major fight card in the United Arab Emirates, including three championship fights of high quality.

HBO would televise live in the afternoon, Arum's already talked to Hershman...

          Im working on a super duper card in Dubai in November. What wed do is HBO would televise it live in the afternoon in the United States,; said Arum, noting that it would be night in the Middle East. ;We want to do three championship fights of high quality. Ive already talked to (HBO Sports president Ken) Hershman about it.;
          Waiting on a deposit...

It would be a tripleheader championship event, Arum said. They have an indoor stadium about 15 miles from the center of Dubai. Weve had very, very interesting discussions.

Im not saying definitely its going to happen, but I know how to do these things and I know whats real and whats bulls---. I feel this is real. Would I bet my life on it happening? Not yet -- not until we have a sizable deposit.

            LOL
look how fast this fell apart

            Loma/Walters might be dead now
Hearn talking Quigg/Frampton with the help of Haymon
Zurdo might fight September 26th PPV and Bob doesn't sound confident of getting the WBO winner

These two fights look to be off the table now, but Sadam Ali against the winner of Bradley-Vargas was always the centerpiece of the (proposed) Dubai fight card, and I don't think that fight is off the table yet.

This is from Dan Rafael's article yesterday:

"The mandatory makes sense if we can finalize everything in Dubai because a fight between Tim and Sadam Ali is a natural for Dubai because Ali is a ****** and Dubai is (in) a ****** country," Arum said.
A Timothy Bradley Jr.-Jessie Vargas rematch? Don't count on it. But Bradley and his team would welcome a September showdown with pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather.

And this is from Kligas today, talking about Lomachenko's planned fight in November:

Bob Arum wants the fight to take place in Dubai
Egis Klimas, manager of WBO featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (4-1, 2KOs) of Ukraine, says his fighter is still on pace to return on a date in November in
