GGG isn't holding on to a belt in Wards division nor is he Ward's mandatory. Big difference.

If Mayweather decide the he will fight past September. The winner of Cotto vs Canelo will fight Mayweather.

Gonna laugh my ass off if Cotto defeats Canelo then vacates, taking both fights away from GGG. Then he gonna have to have his handlers put money up for someone like Froch or another SM belt holder, nobody at 160 with a belt wants to face a guy knocking out guys coming in at 175-180 fight night for peanuts. This is really simple, Cotto can earn the same facing weight drained Geale's as well as Rodriguez's and Trout's as he can facing GGG, where is the sense in sacrificing your ppv status to a guy who will undoubtedly KO you, this is the same scenario as Martinez vs Cotto as it is for Cotto vs Canelo, it's a bigger paying fight for Cotto to cash out versus Canelo, as Martinez cashed out vs Cotto.

What is in it for Cotto fighting Canelo ? Kudos don't take care of your family when you're retired. If GGG wants a challenge he should move up to SM, if he wants a money fight he needs to pressure his handlers into putting the money up for Cotto, Froch, Canelo or some other ppv commanding fighter to face him. As we all know they want the easy option of GGG taking ppv status from a ppv fighter then they gonna have to keep sitting around facing Tureano's, Heiland's and Monroe's until the unlikeliest of unlikely scenarios unfolds whereby somebody like Canelo or Froch face him out of generosity.

Canelo and Froch can earn the same money fighting a hobo off the street as they can facing GGG, their fans will pay to see them fight anyone. Until GGG has a fan base their size he aint walking into these fights unless as I said, they take pity on his ass.

So size isn't the issue. People simply know from watching the two that Golovkin would push Cotto's poop in. They see Canelo as a more even opponent because he's somewhat flat footed and can be outboxed, not because he's signiticantly smaller than GGG.

IMO Golovkin-Canelo is the best fight in that triangle and Cotto's umpteenth "comeback" is a bit of a joke.
                100% correct. Thank you

So in your world, boxers don't have to fight the best and give the fans the best fights possible. As long as they make the top dollars, that is all that matters. So why should the fans support these slimy cowards? Why should the fans spend their hard earned dollars so that these scum fighters can live the life of millionaires? Why shouldn't the fans tell them to simply **** off and not buy the PPV?

Answer... because of ****** fools like yourself who are willing to throw their money in the toilet to watch less quality than you should be getting. I guess you are the kind of person who would be happy with paying the price of a bottle of fine French wine for screw top plonk. You get what you deserve and this is why boxing is a fringe sport that appeals to the lowest class of sports fan.

Cotto is my favorite fighter but if he's not gonna fight his mandatory then drop the belt..

No matter what these chumps think or hate on this site, they can't take away that Miguel Cotto is The Lineal Middleweight champion of the World. So drop the belt which really doesn't mean **** anyway and go beat Canelo's ass.
Canelo weighs as much if not more then tripple g . So how is weight suze an excuse

Odd, isnt it? Some folks get some sort of personal validation by counting another mans money. Personally I dont get it.......
